It's that time again....

Link up to this site and read other Homemaker Moments from other women and/or post your own!

Ok, so once again, I have nothing spectactular to share of my own wisdom, but I can and will say that the Lord is WONDERFUL to me and to my family!

I have been overwhelmed once again with thankfulness this week and I praise God for that. It is by His strength, love, grace, and mercy that I live this life, serve my husband, and raise my children.

So, one thing He reminded me of this week, on two different occassions is that He is merciful, gracious, and oh sooo, sooo patient with me. God is my Father and I am His child, so shouldn't I be oh sooo, soooo patient with my own children? Shouldn't I seize more opportunities to practically show them examples of the Lord's mercy and grace? The answer is YES!!!! It is so refreshing to be reminded of these things.

I am so blessed to be surrounded by many other women who love the Lord and are in similar stages in life with young children. The Lord uses these different women in my life often to remind me of His truths and to bring encouragement and refreshing to my soul....it's like a breathe of fresh air sometimes. This morning was one of those blessed moments. I had the opportunity again to sit and fellowship with these women over coffee, except this time, in my own home. Our children played and had so much fun too. What a blessed time! I love having people into our home and I love that my children love it too! They get so excited when we have people over and my oldest enjoys it so much that he will often invite random people all on his own!!! ;) (my oldest is 3...almost 4)

One little fun note that I am excited about: we ordered cloth diapers this week and have purchased our last pkg of disposable diapers from the store!!! Yippee!! I know some of you are thinking "I bet she won't be yelling yippee when she has to wash all of those nasty diapers!" And you're right, my tone may change a bit once we really get into it, but we're committed now! I did a lit of research and as most of you know, cloth diapers have come ALONG way! I have a friend that I have watched use them on her child for several months now. And after seeing it in action, it wasn't near as intimidating as I had once thought. So, there you have it- my babies booties will be well cared for as they sport some very cute, Bum Genius diapers soon and we'll be saving a lot of money!
