Did you know that as soon as you slice into a vegetable or fruit, it begins losing it's beneficial nutrients and vitamins? Crazy, uh!? Now, it does not lose them all by any means and it is still very good for you to eat fresh vegetables and fruit, but the best way to get ALL of the benefits is to juice them....and it is quite tasty! It is also a lot of fun to create your own combination of fresh juices. You can get really creative with this.
So, to begin my journey to better health and hopefully, little to no allergy/sinus problems, I will begin a juice fast. A fresh juice fast is a really great, healthy way to cleanse and detox your body. I will juice for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a whole week. So, for a whole week, the only thing going into my body will be fresh, whole vegetables, fruits and herbs (in juice form). I have done this before and truly felt fantastic. I will be implementing some other findings during this fast as well.
Check back for a list of supplements and herbs that I will be taking that are known for the health benefits specifically related to allergy and sinus problems, as well as building and balancing your immune system which is key to a healthy body. I will also post several delicious, healthy juicing recipes....with photos....because, I love taking photos! :)
